Q: Where are CUTIES® grown?

A: CUTIES® are grown in the sunny San Joaquin Valley in California.


Q: Do you sell seeds or plants?

A: CUTIES® trees are not available for sale directly from us. But never fear, just visit your local nursery and they can help you select a citrus variety that is right for your garden and climate.


Q: What is a CUTIE®?

A: CUTIES® are actually two varieties of mandarins: Clementine mandarins, available November through January; and W. Murcott mandarins, available February through April. CUTIES® have several distinct characteristics that make them the perfect anytime, anywhere snack. Unlike other mandarins or oranges, they are seedless, super sweet, easy to peel and kid-sized—only a select few achieve CUTIES® ’ high standards.


Q: What is a Clementine?

A: Known as the darling of mandarins, Clementines are a sweet-to-eat, easy-to-peel fruit that is popular among all ages because it is seedless, sweet and juicy. A common sight during the winter months, Clementines have also earned the nickname “Christmas Oranges.”


Q: How many varietals of CUTIES® do you have?

A: There are two varieties of CUTIES® —clementine and Murcott. Which one you find in the grocery store will depend upon the growing season. Clementines are available from November until February, and Murcotts are available February through April. Our fruit comes in different sizes as well. CUTIES® come in 2 pound bags, 3 pound bags and 5 pound boxes. During the growing season, you may also spot ’Lil CUTIES® and Baby CUTIES® in select retailers. We also provide CUTIES® Juices in a variety of flavors year-round…they’re ideal for school lunch boxes.


Q: How many CUTIES® do you recommend kids eat for a portion?

A: CUTIES® are an excellent snack for kids. They are portion-controlled, all natural and a great source of potassium and fiber. One CUTIES® clementine has about 40 calories, 1 gram of protein, 8 grams of natural sugar and is loaded with 200 mg of potassium, 2 grams of dietary fiber, and no fat. By comparison, a medium sized banana has 110 calories, 19 grams of sugar and 3 grams of fiber. Please determine the right portion for your child along with your physician, keeping in mind that children’s calorie consumption can vary widely based upon their activity level, metabolism and diet.


Q: Are Cuties vegan?

A: Yes. Cuties are 100% vegan. Prior to shipping, they are coated with a plant-based wax, like many fruits and vegetables you find in the grocery store, in order to help them maintain their moisture and freshness in transport.

Q: Is Cuties Juice good for my kids? Is it good for me?

A: Cuties Juice is GREAT for you and your kids. Cuties Juice is 100% fruit, so every bottle is chock full of antioxidants and vitamins. Cuties Juice is great for breakfast because it keeps your little ones full until lunchtime (and our 8 oz bottle fits perfectly in lunchboxes, too!), and because kids love Li’l Zipper, they think drinking fruit is super fun. And that’s our business: fun, fresh, flavorful health for the whole family.


Q: What kinds of sweetener do you use?

A: Our juices are all natural, 100% fruit, with no sugar added. ONLY fruit goes into our bottles.


Q: Are your bottles recyclable?

A: Cuties Juice bottles and caps are 100% recyclable, and our sights are set on using fully recycled materials in our packaging in the future – go green: recycle, reuse, repurpose. Our bottles are PET1 and our caps are PET5.


Q: Do you have any Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in your ingredients?

Q: How much potassium is in Cuties Juice?

A: There is 440 mg/cup of potassium in tangerine juice.


Q: Can I freeze my Cuties Juice bottles?

A: You bet! Throw an 8 oz. Cuties Juice in the freezer, and you’ve got the perfect lunchtime drink to pack for school the next day – plus it keeps everything else cool inside a lunchbox, too (added bonus!).


Q: Is Cuties Juice organic?

A: Cuties Juice is currently all natural, non-organic. We test our fruit to make sure that there are no traces of any chemicals before we turn it into juice.


Q: What makes GoGo Green Cuties Juice so healthy?

A: We add Spirulina and golden chlorella to our GoGo Green because they are SoSo good for you. Spirulina and golden chlorella are types of blue green algae with multiple health benefits added to our GoGo Green smoothie to give you even more healthy goodness in every sip. Spirulina and golden chlorella help your body’s digestion, immunity, and detoxification functions. They also help reduce inflammation and give you added energy. Because spirulina and golden chlorella are readily soluble and easily absorbed by the body, they make nutritious additions to all of the good-for-you fruit in GoGo Green.


Q: Where do you make your products?

A: We are proud to make our Cuties Juice in Bakersfield, CA, at our eco-friendly juice plant that is right smack dab in the middle of our orchards (our juice is as grove-to-glass as it gets). We are a family company of farmers and we take a lot of pride in our California roots.


Q: I see you have monk fruit listed in your ingredients. What is it?

A: Monk fruit is a really cool fruit that is traditionally grown in Vietnam and China, and it is known for its natural sweetness. We use it in our Cuties Juices and Smoothies along with the other fruits listed to create delicious and healthy drinks bursting with fruit flavor.
